Concreate® Integral Colored concrete is often looked at as a way to extend the living space of your home and increase its value. Outside the home, slopes, curves, and changes in the grade can be readily accommodated by cast-in-place concrete. Inside the home, entryways, hallways, utility areas, kitchens, recreation areas all can be enhanced and complimented by our Concrete® Integral Colored line of products. Explore the design options available through various color combinations and stamped and exposed finishes.
Stamped concrete has become the decorative finish of choice for homeowners, builders and architects. Our Concreate® Stamped line of mixes is yet another option that gives your home a very attractive appearance. This hard landscaping technique can set apart your home or business from others and increase its value significantly with its warm appeal. By “stamping” three-dimensional patterns into colored concrete, the concrete can be transformed to replicate the natural beauty of slate, cobblestone, brick, tile, wood or various other designs. Our line of Butterfield concrete additives and finishing aids complement and enhance the finished product by adding color variation and texture to your concrete finish. As with other concrete, the annual application of a sealer will retain the beauty of your Concreate® Stamped concrete and will continue to give warmth and value around your home or business.
Exposed aggregate finishes are highly versatile and often used to complement a stamped finish or plain concrete. Our Concreate® lines of exposed mixes are one of the most beautiful exposed aggregate concretes in North America because of our Cascade Pea aggregate. The Cascade Pea mix along with a deep black integral color brings out the beauty of the white rock by contrasting it with the dark paste of the concrete mix. As with other concrete, the annual application of a sealer will retain the beauty of your Concreate® Exposed concrete and will continue to give warmth and value around your home or business.
Protect your investment by utilizing these easy care tips to keep your colored concrete looking great.
Concrete sealers help protect concrete from damage due to exposure, de-icing agents, and freeze-thaw cycles. Concrete sealers assist in repelling oil, grease, water and stains.
- Seal your concrete with a quality sealer.
- It is imperative to apply the sealer during the first year after your concrete has been placed and prior to the first frost.
- A regular re-sealing program should be scheduled every one to two years.
- Schedule periodic cleaning to avoid the gradual accumulation of dirt. The most effective method of cleaning your ConCreate® surface is chemical free, low pressure power washing.
Snow & Ice Removal
- Snow and ice should be removed with a plastic snow shovel.
- Avoid the use of de-icing salts.
- Refrain from ice chipping.
